Two earthquakes within five minutes occurred in Taiwan
Two earthquakes of magnitude 5.7 and 5.2 were recorded by seismologists with a difference of five minutes in Taiwan. This is reported by the U.S. Geological Survey on February 15. The first underground push of magnitude 5.7, was recorded at 11:00 World Coordinated Time (14:00 Moscow time) in Hualian County on the east coast of the island 16 km south of the city of Hualian with a population of about 350 thousand people. The second underground push came five minutes after the first at 14:05 GMT, in the same place. The focus of the earthquake at the first push was located at a depth of 10 kilometers, at the second at a depth of two kilometers.
