Mercedes-Benz recalls about 489 cars in Russia

The official representative of the Mercedes-Benz manufacturer in the Russian market of Mercedes-Benz Rus JSC announced the withdrawal for repair of 489 vehicles. This is reported on April 20 by the press service of the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology. As specified, E-class, S-class, G-class, AMG GT models, which were released from May 2018 to April 2019, are subject to recall. Reason for recall of vehicles: elastomeric material of the supply oil line of the turbocompressor may not meet the specification, the message of Rosstandart reads. It is noted that on all vehicles under recall the supply oil line of the turbocompressor will be replaced free of charge. For repair works drivers can contact the nearest dealer center. Earlier, due to the incorrect connection of the hatch glass to the frame, Mercedes-Benz withdrew 2,167 of its cars from China's market.
