US starts working on Putin's proposal for UN Security Council Five summit
The U.S. authorities have begun working on a proposal by Russian President Vladimir Putin to meet the leaders of the permanent members of the United Nations Security Council. This was stated by the Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov in an interview with RIA Novosti. As previously reported by the news agency, Russian leader Vladimir Putin, during his speech at the Fifth World Holocaust Remembrance Forum, proposed to hold a meeting of heads of state of permanent members of the UN Security Council of Russia, China, the USA, France and Great Britain. Putin stressed that Russia will send its proposal to the authorities of these countries. At the same forum, French President Emmanuel Macron supported the Russian leader's proposal.
