EU offers assistance to Belarus in talks with opposition

The European Union will support the authorities of Belarus in establishing a dialogue with the opposition and citizens, the EU Council said in a statement following an informal meeting held on August 14 via video conference. Not a single new confirmed case of COVID-19 was detected on the territory of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in northwestern China, Xinhua News Agency reported on September 1.
