US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will visit Croatia next week


On September 24, before the government meeting, Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlic Radman confirmed that US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo would arrive in Croatia next week. Among the topics of negotiations with Secretary of State Radman highlighted the abolition of visas, the Western Balkans, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the agreement on avoiding double taxation. This was reported by the Croatian news agency Večernji list. Among the member states of the European Union, only citizens of Croatia, Bulgaria, Romania and Cyprus cannot enter the United States without a visa. In any case, this is a good meeting, strengthening transatlantic ties and cooperation, Gordan Radman emphasized. Gordan Grlic Radman Pompeo is expected to meet with Croatian Prime Minister Andrei Plenkovic and Foreign Minister Gordan Grlic Radman during a visit to Croatia. Pompeo recently visited Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria and Slovenia. He warned them of the danger of the growing influence of China and Russia, and hoped to do so in Croatia. Gordan Radman did not talk about what position Croatia will take on the issue of 5G technologies in China and whether Croatia and the United States will sign a joint statement on the security of the 5G network.

This list has been provided for exemption from payments by the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan and the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry. It is reported that, on an exceptional basis, the Republican Special Commission for the Preparation of a Programme of Measures to Prevent the Penetration and Spread of Coronavirus in Uzbekistan has been granted such rights as exemption from VAT for up to 3 months of certain finished medicines and medical products. The Commission may also draw up a list of essential goods and exempt them from customs payments for up to three months. In Uzbekistan, the number of cases of coronavirus infection has increased by 16 to 104 to date.
