Vucic appreciated the results of the video summit on Kosovo in Brussels
The meeting of the delegations of Belgrade and Pristina in Brussels scheduled for July 12 was postponed to July 16. This was following a video summit in Brussels with the participation of the leaders of Germany, France, the EU, Serbia and the representative of Pristina on the issue of unrecognized Kosovo, Serbian President Alexander Vucic said. He added that another video summit should take place on July 12. As for the meeting held today, July 10, then, according to the head of the republic, the conversation was difficult and difficult, because Serbia had its own opinion, which the rest of the dialogue participants did not share. I believe that Germany and France will make their common presidential statement, since there were things that we did not have the same look at, Vucic said. He added that the demands put forward by the Albanian side regarding the preservation of the territorial integrity and constitution of Kosovo, as well as long-term mutual recognition, Pristina's membership in the UN and recognition of Kosovo by other European countries, are unrealistic. We add that the video summit was held with the aim of resuming the dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo. The meeting was attended by French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Kosovo Prime Minister Abdullah Hoti, EU Senior Representative for Foreign Affairs Josep Borel and EU Special Representative for Dialogue Belgrade and Pristina Miroslav Lajchak.
