China develops 14th five-year plan

In connection with the development of the 14th five-year plan in China, which starts next year, party-state leader Xi Jinping issued guidelines, demanding that central and local authorities planning bodies combine design at the state level with a public request. This was reported on August 6 by Xinhua. The leader noted that the development and implementation of the five-year plans is the most important tool for managing the socio-economic life of the country by the CPC. Insisting on further maximum rapprochement between the party and the people, Xi Jinping advocated expanding feedback channels with society, taking into account and summarizing proposals from the general public in economic and social construction. It is also reported that in addition to the public, fundamental and applied scientific circles of the PRC are involved in the development of the 14th five-year plan.
