Live poorly, but with dignity: the topic of LGBT stood between Poland and the European Union

Since the end of last year, dozens of Polish towns declared themselves free from the LGBT community. This step was part of a broader government campaign to protect traditional values that was another reason for contradictions with the EU. On 1 August the European Commission has denied the financial support of six Polish cities used for this step. Some European cities simply stop cultural and educational collaboration with free LGBT Polish cities.
