An earthquake of magnitude 3.1 was recorded in the northern part of Georgia on September 4. This was reported by the National Center for Seismic Monitoring of Georgia. According to seismologists, underground oscillations occurred at 7:44 local time (6:44 Moscow time), five kilometers southeast of the district center of Oni, near the village of Badzhikhevi in the Racha-Lechkhumi and Lower Svanetia region. The depth of the epicenter is 14 km. There is no data on destruction or damage. It is worth noting that earlier the earthquake in Georgia was recorded on August 28. Its magnitude was also 3.1. Then the tremors were in the territory of Mtskheta-Mtianeti.
